CBlue originally started as a non-working/unfinished curriculum management system when I was first assigned to it at the Faculty of Medicine, Memorial University of Newfoundland. From there I made it fully functional and it grew into a highly competent web app that was a huge contributor to showing which courses/activities covered which learning objectives and national competencies, which lead to a full medical accreditation of the Faculty of Medicine. It has since spawned off into it's own private company being utilized by Universities internationally. Ask Buddy was designed to be a one stop spot for students, faculty and professors to access frequently asked questions about the medical program or medical related topics. The iOS app works in conjunction with a website I had designed by parsing the website's questions/answers and aggregating/updating the questions/answers stored on the app (which is then saved for offline access). Your Clerkship is similar to Ask Buddy as it is another FAQ app, with the exception that it was specifically designed for medical students on rotation. The iOS app works in the same way as Ask Buddy. During this project I was also a mentor to a Computer Engineering student for 3 months who was tasked to create a new user interface with me that was different than the previous Ask Buddy implementation. A kid friendly iOS/Android game using the Unity game engine. Play through various themed worlds while trying not to get caught by computer controlled enemies within a time limit.
